We are New Zealanders and proud owners of a heavenly slice of paradise in Languedoc in the South of France.

We spent almost a year looking for the right property and must have seen thousands.

We wanted a place that offered easy living for everyday life and had a great location close to the action when we wanted the buzz of a city with its cafes, art, shopping and big ideas.

Being New Zealanders and very outdoor focused we also wanted somewhere that wasn't 'over touristed' and spoiled by heavy traffic or shameless displays of opulence.

Naturally we want to see the glamour and glitz, just not live amongst it. And anyway the Cote D'Zur is just a few hours away by train.

We love the countryside of rural Southern France with its canals, vineyards, fragrant pine trees and gorgeous stone buildings.

We found what we were looking for in Quarante.

We hope it can become the beginning of your big adventure too.
